Do you have the recipe for the sweet water? One fourth cup sugar for each cup of water.
Heat water, add sugar, stir to dissolve completely. Add some ice cubes, allowing for these to be part of your water for recipe.
When cool, fill up multiple feeders. One feeder will only cause fighting.
Tip for cleaning feeders: recycle dish soap bottle, fill with bleach. Squirt all parts of feeder, including inside of bottles.
After a few minutes (you’ll be able to see when all parts are clean) brush if needed, & rinse thoroughly with hot water.
