make cornstarch glue:1/4 cup cornstartch and 1/2 cup water mixed well
put in saucepan,over medium heat cook until it thickens and becomes transluscent,allow to cool
cut yarn into foot long pieces(use reds and pinks for valentines day)
use a heart shaped cookie cutter placed on the shiny side of parchment paper and dip the yarn in cornstartch glue,use fingers to take of excess glue by sliding fingers down the yarn repeat filling up the heart shaped cookie cutter.with clean hands press yarn down and together.gently lift off the cookie cutter and repeat to make many.let dry until hard(at least 1 day)you can dry faster by placing them on a cookie sheet with the parchment paper in the oven heated to warm they will dry in an hour or two.you can hang them from ribbon for a cute valentines day decoration.
